Different tasks require different tools. Here's the few I use in almost every project.
My methods
While I'm not confined to a single method, there's a few that I find foundational.
Sketching
I believe any idea needs to be poured out of our minds. And I rely on one trusty technique for it - Sketching!
Collaboration
The best ideas arise when multiple brains think together (and it's great to share both the "Aha!" moments and the agony).
UX Research
Interacting with people, learning about what they want ( and sometimes learning with them) is my favorite part of the process.
UX Design
I once heard that good designs are ones that go unnoticed, and I strive to create experiences where people can't point fingers.
UI Design
Every good UX is twice as better with a good UI. With my graphic design experience, this is particularly my forté.
Prototyping
Ultimately, the best way to show people your ideas is to build it out so it feels real. This is where tools like Figma help me most.
Hobbies & Interests 🪩
Art
I've been sketching and painting since I can remember. I work with multiple mediums - digital art, painting, sketching, sculpting.
Photography
Digital, polaroids, and film. I dabble in every form of capturing what I see in the world. (Mostly because someone told me photos help combat memory loss when aging).
Planes
I occasionally fly planes on a simulator, and often geek out about experiences and tech in aviation.
Film
The closest thing we have for hypnosis.
Movies are the greatest form of storytelling that make it easy for anyone to relate to a character.
Climate
While the state of our world terrifies me, I believe it's all of our responsibility to design experiences that work in harmony with our natural world.
Honestly, a bit of everything
I love dabbling in a lot of unique activities. 📖 🪡 🏹 👨🍳 🚴♂️ 🏊♂️
